After a series of training days and a tough days qualification Team GB qualified for the team final, whilst Ellie (who was unable to finish her floor in qualifying due to a fall) qualfiied for the AA final. Becky narrowley missed out on the bars final, her big routine hit without a fall gained a qualifying score of 15.233 (with a brush of her feet on the apparatus). Ellie also narrowley missed out on vault and beam finals.

On the team final day, Team GB performed fabulously to make history yet again. Team GB finished 5th. For a full report please see the link below -

Congratulations all girls and coaches!

Following on from the team final Ellie Downie competed in the AA final, with a fantastic floor and vault Ellie put herself in a good position, she fought hard through her bar routine to avoid coming off and showed strong determination on beam. Even with the injury from qualifying Ellie performed her hard double arabian dismount and just over rotated. Ellie at only 17 finished 13th showing there is much more to come from her in the future.
