Training Groups & Development Pathway

At NGA we believe that through our GFA Competitive Programme we can provide the opportunity for our gymnasts, whilst not having the extra requirements for our WAG/MAG pathways, to achieve and be the best they can be.

GFA Competitive groups compete at all different levels within the gymnastics world, whether this is in GFA focused competitions or alongside the WAG team at County, Regional and Grades competitions.

Many of our competitive coaches also coach recreational sessions and are always on the look out for talented gymnasts to bring through to our competitive groups and we will contact you you if we feel your child is suitable.

Entry to the competitive groups is through invite and trial only.

Movement through the C(County) and R(Regional) groups can be fluid dependant on the progression of the gymnast and the suitability of the group for them.

C Groups

Under 8's, Primary 2/1 Floor & Vault, Advanced/Plus Floor & Vault, Primary 2/1 4 Piece Championship, Advanced/Plus 4 Piece Championship, Invitationals and Friendly competitions.

Gymnasts competing at Advanced Plus, or close to achieving skills, may be eligible to compete at County Levl 5 Floor & Vault alongside the Regional groups.

R Groups

County Floor & Vault, County Level 5 Team (if successful in qualifications), County 4 Piece, Regional competitions, Club and Regional Grades, English Championships, Notts Gymnova Open & other Invitational and Friendly competitions as they arise.

Our Acro team compete at County, Invitationals and other Friendly competitions throughout the year
