Open Day, Sunday 23rd November

The Gymnastics for All Discipline would like to invite your child to participate in an Open Day, here at Notts Gymnastics Academy. The event will run on Sunday 23rd November 2014, with 5 time slots to choose from, depending on your child’s age or current group.
This event is an ideal opportunity for you to see a snap shot of how our gymnastics classes run plus some surprise performances from some of our performance gymnasts. Each session will start with a warm-up, followed by some time on apparatus and ended with a cool down. The gym will be set up for a training session, however we will have seating around the gymnastics hall so you are able to sit and watch for the duration of the class. You will be able to take photographs (no flash) and / or videos of your own child during these sessions.
The time slots are:

• 9:00-10:00am 4-5 year old gymnasts
• 11:30-12:30pm 6-8 year old gymnasts
• 2.30- 3.30pm gymnasts aged 9+ (including C groups)
• 10:30-11am 4 – 5 year old gymnasts
• 1:00-2:00pm 6-8 year old gymnasts

Spaces in these open classes are limited and will be allocated on a strictly first come first served basis.
Entry on the day for spectators will be at a cost of £2 per adult and £1 per child (children aged 2 and under will be free). After the open class, there will be an opportunity for you to have a chat with coaches. Both the entry fee for spectators and all money raised on the day (from refreshments) will go into our fundraising account, which in the last year has funded T-shirts for all staff, T-shirts for leadership volunteers and judge and coach education courses for
coaches and judges from the Gymnastics for All section of Notts Gymnastics Academy.

If you would like your child to participate in this session, please fill in and return the slip on the attached PDF by Tuesday 18th November 2014, along with £5.00 to cover the cost of the session, to the gymnastics office (by the Gymnastics for All Changing area), or if no-one is in the office, please give the slip and payment in an envelope clearly labelled
“Gymnastics Open Day” to your child’s coach.
