About

Notts Gymnastics Academy (NGA) was created as the result of an amalgamation of several local clubs in 1997 when the dedicated centre opened. We have evolved significantly with the most current redevelopment of our site taking place from 2002 – 2025. We now showcase 2 fully equipped and dedicated gymnastics spaces which are home to both our Participation & Performance disciplines, along with full CCTV viewing available in our welcoming social space/café on the top floor of the building.​

We provide exceptional gymnastics training for individuals of all ages, from PreSchool children to adults. Each week, we proudly welcome thousands of gymnasts into our vibrant community, helping them build confidence, strength, and discipline through the sport of gymnastics. Our competitive programmes have achieved remarkable success, with athletes representing their home nations and Great Britain at prestigious international events, as well as winning British teams and individual titles. At NGA, we nurture both participation and performance gymnasts with equal passion and commitment, whilst striving to foster a love for the sport in every participant.​

NGA is a registered charity, led by an expert team of dedicated and passionate people. ​

We are governed by a Board of Trustees, who provide strategic oversight to support the direction of the Academy and hold accountability to ensure we continually work towards our charitable aims.  ​

Our Management Committee are responsibly for running the daily operations and leading the NGA team on the ground.
