Competitive General
Advanced Classes
This is the first opportunity for girls and boys to join the competitive pathway and gives them an opportunity to take their gymnastics participation further. They train 1.5-2 hours per week and work towards county and invitational (floor and vault) competitions.
Entry to an Advanced group is by invitation, usually following a trial session, and is generally for an initial three-month period to make sure that the gymnast settles and is in the appropriate group. Satisfactory commitment and progress must be maintained to remain in the group.
Competitive Programme (C Groups)
Suitable for gymnasts who are progressing well but don’t quite [yet] meet the extra requirements for our WAG/MAG pathways. They train for 4-6 hours a week working towards Regional GFA focused competitions.
