Joanna Jackson​

Another former gymnast who just can’t keep away, I have delighted in seeing the sport through new eyes over that last few years, as my three children have undertaken their own gymnastic journeys. The first has used it as a good formative physical foundation before transitioning across to athletics, the second is determined to outperform my limited competitive successes and continues to be at her happiest bouncing on a trampoline, while the fearless last is mostly learning how to land safely.​

Away from gymnastics, my career has seen me consulting in Financial Services analysing new business opportunities and evaluating operational effectiveness. I have successfully deployed those same skills in my local community as a Governor of a small rural primary school. ​

It is seeing the difference in all round confidence, coordination and discipline that a passion for sport can bring that makes me eager to support the Academy and ensure its long-term viability.
