PreSchool

Weekly timetable

A playful exploration of the fundamentals of movement for babies, toddlers and children with or without their parents. Our classes support the development of vital physical skills such as balance and coordination as well as improve self confidence, social skills and foster a sense of adventure. Your child will learn to swing on a bar, roll in different ways, bounce on the trampette, use a spring-board and balance on a beam. ​​

How a session runs​

Each week, the 45 minute sessions start with a warm-up activity and action song. The children are then split into smaller groups for gymnastics-based skills circuits. We finish with a hand / eye coordination activity and a goodbye song. The activities are tailored to the age and ability of the group and we work through a termly curriculum. 

Autumn Term Curriculum​

​Which class ​

Where your child starts depends on their age, and their personality - some children prefer to have the support and familiarity of a parent while they get to know us whereas some jump straight in! Many children start in the Parent & Child class, and progress onto the Independent class once they are ready. ​

We also offer bookable weekly Pre School Play-and-Stay sessions suitable for children 5 years and under. These are parent supervised 'free-play' sessions - coaches are present to advise and oversee the session, but it is not coached.​

During Sessions for PreSchool Parents 

Once you have registered your child with the coach, you can either; 

  • Wait in our cafe where you can get a drink / snack. There is CCTV so that you can observe the sessions running in the gym. There are also plugs and USB connections so that you can plug in a laptop or phone. The cafe is on the top floor of the main gym building (via the main entrance).  

  • Or you prefer, you are free to leave the site.

Fees​

Structured classes (term time only)- £22.50 per month (11 months of the year) 

Stay & Play Drop-in classes - £6.50 per session (must be booked in advance)​
