Notts Gymnastics Academy (NGA) is looking for a proactive, organised and member-focused Membership Development Manager to lead the development of our membership systems and processes and to support the delivery of an outstanding experience for our members across Participation and Performance programmes.
This is a key role within a growing charitable organisation that reaches over 1,500 participants each week and continues to expand its offer and impact within the community.
About the Role
Notts Gymnastics Academy is a large and ambitious charitable organisation dedicated to providing high-quality gymnastics opportunities for all. The Membership Development Manager will have accountability for the Academy’s membership management platform, ensuring it is fully optimised, user-friendly and aligned with organisational policies, processes and procedures.
Working closely with the Participation Director, the role will lead system improvements and play a central role in any future transition to a new membership platform. You will line manage two Administration team members and hold responsibility for ensuring effective membership stewardship, strong financial controls, and excellent member engagement across all membership touchpoints.
This role requires a confident systems thinker with strong people management skills, financial awareness and a passion for improving customer experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
Driving continuous improvement of the Academy’s membership management platform and processes.
Alongside the Participation Director, leading the planning and implementation of any transition to a new membership system.
Line managing and supporting two Administration team members to deliver high-quality member services.
Holding overall accountability for membership communications and membership queries.
Overseeing key membership processes including waitlists, new starters and class moves.
Leading staff training to ensure effective use of the membership system during sessions.
Maintaining oversight of membership data, KPIs and platform performance, reporting regularly to the Participation Director.
Holding financial accountability for membership income, including fee collection, reconciliation and monitoring against agreed targets.
Ensuring compliance with GDPR, safeguarding and data protection requirements.
Promoting NGA’s values and contributing to a positive, professional and member-focused culture.
We’re seeking a Membership Development Manager with:
Essential
Proven experience in membership administration, systems management, operations or a similar role.
Experience managing or developing membership management platforms or databases.
Experience line managing or supervising staff.
Strong organisational and process improvement skills with excellent attention to detail.
Financial awareness, including fee management, reconciliation or income monitoring.
Confident communication skills with a strong customer service focus.
Ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines.
High level of IT proficiency, including Microsoft Office and membership or CRM systems.
Desirable
Experience leading or supporting a system implementation or platform transition.
Experience working in a charity, sport, education or child-focused environment.
Experience producing KPI reports and supporting senior leadership decision-making.
Knowledge of membership platforms.

Notts Gymnastics Academy is looking for a dynamic Participation Lead Coach to join our thriving Gymnastics for All (GFA) programme, reaching over 1,200 participants weekly.
About the Role
As part of our Participation Team, you’ll work closely with the Assistant Head of GFA to lead and support a team of enthusiastic coaches, helping to deliver high-quality, engaging, and inclusive gymnastics sessions. This is a hands-on role, combining on-floor coaching with programme development, team leadership, and coach mentoring.
This is an exciting opportunity for a coach with established experience who is ready to move into a role that combines coaching delivery with mentoring, coach and programme development
Your responsibilities will include:
Lead and deliver progressive, engaging, and inclusive GFA sessions.
Mentor, support, and up-skill existing coaches to ensure consistent, high-quality delivery.
Work collaboratively with the Assistant Head of GFA to improve session structures and raise holistic coaching standards.
Support planning and delivery of club-wide events such as Awards weeks, displays, and competitions.
Uphold safeguarding, health & safety, and Academy policies.
Promote a positive and professional coaching culture within the team.
Act as a key point of contact for parents, gymnasts, and coaches, ensuring effective communication and professionalism.
Support the Assistant Head of GFA with HR-related matters including managing timesheets, conducting appraisals, writing coach development plans, and providing training & CPD opportunities.
Engage in continuous professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and qualifications.
We’re seeking a leader with:
You’ll be an experienced coach with a passion for participation gymnastics, strong leadership skills, and the ability to motivate both gymnasts and coaches. You’ll thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy being part of a collaborative and supportive team.
Essential requirements
British Gymnastics Level 2 (or above) coaching qualification.
Experience leading or mentoring other coaches.
Availability to work evenings and weekends as required.

About the Role
Notts Gymnastics Academy is a large and growing charitable organisation dedicated to providing first-class services to its members, staff and wider community. The HR Advisor role is responsible for providing comprehensive, hands-on HR support across the employee lifecycle, alongside payroll coordination and wider business administration.
The role holder will act as the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring compliance with employment legislation, internal policies and best practice. They will support managers with day-to-day people matters, oversee payroll processes, and contribute to the effective and compliant running of the Academy. The post requires a proactive, organised individual who can work independently while collaborating closely with the Business Support and leadership teams.
Your responsibilities will include:
Provide end-to-end HR advice and administration across the employee lifecycle.
Act as a key point of contact for staff and managers on HR policies, procedures and employee relations matters.
Coordinate and administer payroll processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Maintain accurate HR systems, records and reporting.
Support wider business administration and compliance activities including GDPR, policies and statutory requirements.

Proven experience in an HR advisory or HR officer/administrator role.

Main Purpose of the Role
This is an exciting career opportunity for an ambitious Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach who is passionate about both athlete and personal development.
At Notts Gymnastics Academy, you will coach gymnasts across the full performance pathway from foundation and development levels through to high-performing competitive athletes in a supportive and athlete-centred environment. You will work closely with experienced High-Performance Coaches and receive ongoing mentoring and feedback to develop your coaching practice. You will play an active role in supporting the development of gymnasts, contributing to programme delivery, and working collaboratively within a strong team culture.
Key Responsibilities
Coaching & Programme Leadership
· Deliver high-quality WAG coaching sessions across recreational, development, and competitive pathways
· Plan and prepare structured, progressive, and engaging sessions
· Support the holistic development of gymnasts, promoting positive attitudes, focus, effort, and sportsmanship
· Work alongside and learn from High Performance Coaches through mentoring and shared coaching delivery
· Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare
· Communicate effectively with parents, gymnasts, and colleagues
· Support Academy events such as competitions, training camps, displays, and workshops
· Attend competitions and events as required to support gymnasts
· Contribute positively to a professional, collaborative coaching culture
Essential requirements
· Minimum British Gymnastics Level 2 WAG qualification (or equivalent)
· Current British Gymnastics membership (or willingness to obtain)
· Safeguarding & Protecting Children certification (or willingness to obtain)
· Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain)
· A passion for coaching and developing gymnasts and people
· Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills
· A desire to progress professionally and develop as a coach
