  • Are you passionate about developing gymnasts and growing your coaching career in a high-quality environment?  

     Notts Gymnastics Academy (NGA) is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Level 2+ Gymnastics Coach (BG Qualified) to join our established GymSchool Programme. This is a fantastic opportunity for a coach who is committed to excellence, gymnast-centred coaching, and professional development.  

     This role offers 20+ hours per week, providing a varied coaching schedule. You will deliver engaging evening sessions on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, alongside daytime coaching on Saturdays. There is also the opportunity to expand your hours further, with additional sessions available on Sundays from August and through covering shifts as and when they become available. 

     Main Purpose of the Role   

    This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Level 2+ Gymnastics Coach with a passion for both gymnast progression and personal development. 

     At Notts Gymnastics Academy, you will deliver coaching within our GymSchool programme, supporting gymnasts from Foundation Year through to Year 7+. You will collaborate closely with a dedicated team of coaches, including our key coaching leadership, within a supportive and forward-thinking environment. 

     NGA is committed to investing in its coaching team, offering ongoing professional development and opportunities to gain further British Gymnastics qualifications. This role provides a clear pathway to build a sustainable and rewarding career within a progressive and highly respected academy. 

     Within the GymSchool coaching team, you will deliver high-quality, engaging, and purposeful sessions that reflect NGA’s core values: Be Our Best, Do the Right Thing, and Happy Souls. You will play an active role in gymnast development and working collaboratively to foster a positive and high-performing team culture. 

     Key Responsibilities   

    Coaching & Programme Leadership   

    • Deliver high-quality structured, inclusive and engaging coaching sessions 

    • Support the holistic development of gymnasts, promoting positive attitudes and sportsmanship  

    • Learn from a team of high-quality coaches through mentoring and shared coaching delivery  

    • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare  

    • Communicate effectively with parents, gymnasts, and colleagues  

    • Support Academy events such as festivals, holiday camps, displays, and workshops  

    • Attend staff meetings and training where necessary 

    • Contribute positively to a professional, collaborative coaching culture  

     Essential requirements   

    • British Gymnastics Level 2+ qualification & British Gymnastics membership (ability to obtain)  

    • Safeguarding & Protecting Children certification & Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain)  

    • A passion for coaching and developing gymnasts and people with strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills  

    • A desire to progress professionally and develop as a coach  

    • Availability to work evenings and weekends as required 

    • A commitment to creating a safe, fun and inclusive environment for all

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for a coach who is committed to excellence, athlete-centred coaching, and ongoing professional development.

    Main Purpose of the Role

    This is an exciting career opportunity for an ambitious Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Coach who is passionate about both athlete and personal development.

    At Notts Gymnastics Academy, you will coach gymnasts across the full performance pathway from foundation and development levels through to high-performing competitive athletes in a supportive and athlete-centred environment. You will work closely with experienced High-Performance Coaches and receive ongoing mentoring and feedback to develop your coaching practice. NGA is committed to investing in its coaches by supporting continued professional development and further British Gymnastics qualifications, helping you build a sustainable and rewarding coaching career within a progressive and highly respected Academy.

    As part of the WAG coaching team, you will plan and deliver high-quality coaching sessions that are engaging, purposeful, and aligned with NGA’s core values of Be Our Best, Do the Right Thing and Happy Souls. You will play an active role in supporting the development of gymnasts, contributing to programme delivery, and working collaboratively within a strong team culture.

    Key Responsibilities

    · Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health & safety, and welfare

    · Communicate effectively with parents, gymnasts, and colleagues

    · Support Academy events such as competitions, training camps, displays, and workshops

    · Attend competitions and events as required to support gymnasts

    · Contribute positively to a professional, collaborative coaching culture

    Essential requirements

    · Minimum British Gymnastics Level 2 WAG qualification (or equivalent)

    · Current British Gymnastics membership (or willingness to obtain)

    · Safeguarding & Protecting Children certification (or willingness to obtain)

    · Valid DBS (or willingness to obtain)

    · A passion for coaching and developing gymnasts and people

    · Strong teamwork, communication, and organisational skills

    · A desire to progress professionally and develop as a coach

  • Salary: up to £30,000 (pro-rata for part time) Dependent on experience 20 hours per week, Permanent 

    Notts Gymnastics Academy is a large, ambitious and vibrant club committed to providing a first‑class experience to our members, families and wider community. We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our Business Support Team and contribute to the smooth, effective and compliant running of our day‑to‑day financial operations. 

    This is a fantastic role for someone with strong financial administrative skills who enjoys working as part of a supportive team and wants to make a meaningful contribution to a high‑performing & thriving charitable sports organisation that reaches over 1,500 participants each week. 

    About the Role 

    As our Finance Assistant, you will play a vital role in the smooth running of the Academy’s financial operations. You’ll take ownership of day‑to‑day accounting tasks, including managing E‑Banking and accounting systems, completing bank reconciliations, maintaining the cash book and petty cash, updating purchase and sales ledgers, handling credit control, processing invoices and expenses, and raising sales invoices to support efficient weekly financial administration. 

    You will support core monthly accounting processes by posting nominal journals, completing balance sheet reconciliations, maintaining the fixed asset register, provide admin support for payroll and producing accurate financial reports to aid effective decision‑making. Alongside this, you will assist with internal and external audits, liaise with suppliers, customers and accountants, maintain procedural documentation, respond professionally to finance enquiries, contribute to process improvements, ensure compliance with financial regulations & GDPR, and provide wider admin support as required. 

    About You 

    We are looking for someone who has: 

    Essential Skills & Experience 

    • Proven experience in financial administration 

    • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills 

    • Excellent organisational, written and verbal communication skills 

    • Confidence working with people at all levels 

    • Ability to prioritise, work under pressure and meet deadlines 

    • A positive, flexible and proactive approach 

    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team 

    Desirable 

    • Finance or accounting qualifications 

    • Experience with financial or management reporting software 

    • Understanding of GDPR, safeguarding and best practice standards 

    • Payroll admin experience
