This year Loughborough University is hosting the championships. Come along and support all of our Notts gymnasts!

Women’s Espoirs & Boys Championships

Congratulations to British, European and Commonwealth Champion gymnast, Becky Downie who has been nominated for a British Ethnic Diversity Sports Award (BEDSA).

Becky, who had a sensational 2014 which included being crowned uneven bars European Champion, is nominated for the UK Sport Sportswoman of the Year Award, alongside boxer Nicola Adams and Rugby player Margaret Alphonsi.

The British Ethnic Diversity Sports Awards (BEDSA) are the first of an annual ceremony rewarding excellence among black and minority ethnic (BME) sports men and women, helping to increase sports participation by all communities and show how BME people can lead a healthier lifestyle.

Laura Kaletha has been selected as a finalist for the Leicester Mercury Junior Sportswoman awards taking place on Thursday 15th Jan. Good luck Laura!
