Supporting Teachers to Deliver Gymnastics with Confidence

Notts Gymnastics Academy recently welcomed 17 Primary School PE leads from across Rushcliffe for a dedicated CPD event focused on enhancing the delivery of gymnastics in schools.

The session was led by our experienced coaches, Cam and Fern, in partnership with Chris Ballard, Rushcliffe School Games Organiser and supported by a representative from British Gymnastics. The event formed part of our ongoing commitment to work more closely with schools and increase participation in gymnastics across the local community.

A key aim of the day was to address one of the most common challenges faced by teachers - confidence in delivering gymnastics. Through practical workshops, guidance, and shared expertise, attendees were equipped with the tools and ideas needed to bring engaging and structured gymnastics lessons back to their schools.

Feedback from the event was extremely positive, with many teachers expressing that they now feel more confident and better prepared to deliver gymnastics as part of their PE curriculum.

This CPD event represents an important step in strengthening partnerships between schools and our organisation and we look forward to continuing to support teachers and inspire more young people to enjoy and benefit from gymnastics.

We extend a big thank you to all the teachers who attended from the following schools across Ruschliffe:
